MATH IN MOTION
I coded this program at Girls Who Code using Javascript and HTML. This program connects math and art by demonstrating what happens when two cylinders intersect. The cylinders move about the screen at different speeds and in different directions, giving each cylinder its own unique pattern of motion. When two or more cylinders intersect, they form parabolas. The program is coded to create new cylinders with different colors, positions, and patterns of motion every time it is restarted. I demonstrate this property by restarting the program about 11 seconds into the video.
